Saturdays with Mrs. Roy usually involve household chores like cleaning the bathrooms, running the vacuum (Mrs. Roy's personal LEAST favorite thing), dusting, cleaning windows and doing laundry. Mr. and Mrs. Roy don't really make a lot of mess but things have to be cleaned occasionally anyway for some reason. So Mrs. Roy has spent another Saturday wiping, swiping and sweeping. Mrs. Roy also went to the dollar store and resupplied with paper products - using a coupon, of course, and swung by the recycling center to drop off a stack of flattened cardboard boxes from my recent online shopping spree (what was I thinking!) and a full container of other recyclables. Meanwhile, Mr. Roy mowed and used the weedeater and blew off the driveway and cleaned out the flower bed - outside stuff. It's called balance of power.
Now it's time to enjoy a cup of coffee on the back porch. Life is good.
